Rename file?
Re: Rename file?
The developers do read the forum but I'm guessing that replying is not high priority. Transmission creates the files exactly as they're listed in the .torrent file. Just a guess: I think this feature would be non-standard and that is the reason the developers are reluctant to add it. You can already select the base folder that everything is added into.
Re: Rename file?
What about change this feature? Is it possible to made it???
Looking forward for answer.

Re: Rename file?
well i think this is very useful too.
For example, i get movies that are in folders that XBMC cannot make sense of. So my choices are only:
a) make a copy (large waste of space for a movie)
-or-
b) stop seeding
usually i would choose b).
But if I could map an alias name, all would be good.
Anyway, someone suggested opening a trac ticket. So open one and let us know here when you do. We can all "vote" with comments there.

Re: Rename file?
Has this feature been implemented yet? It's a must-have for PT seeding...

Re: Rename file?
This is now in the nightly builds (https://build.transmissionbt.com/job/trunk-mac/). Feedback is appreciated.
