Moving Transmission to a new computer

Hello
Tomorrow I’ll receive my new mac and I would like that Transmission uses the same files it’s down/uploading on my "old" computer. Which files (besides the actual data) do I need to transfer to the new computer? I do not have the torrent files since I delete them when I open them with transmission.
I want the same on the new computer as what I’m having now on the “old” one. In the end it must be like nothing has changed.
Also, how come that since the new version of Transmission I can't see the file size anymore (without opening the torrent information panel)?

you can find the .torrent files that are still in Transmission in some folder, don't know wich one but if you search on .torrent you will find them
. copy them and move them to your new computer too

I've found a folder with in Application Support with some other folders in it of which also the Torrents folder. If I install Transmission on the new mac, what do I need to do with these folders before I start Transmission for the first time?

Well I don't think anything. You just need to copy the incomplete/complete data to the new computer (and put it in the folder you want your downloads to appear)
Then Set the preferences so the folder you put the files in is your folder where you will download to.
Then copy the torrents and put them somewhere (doesn't matter where) open all of them and verify data (that is possible at the add-window and under tranfers)

OK, and here is what I did using Linux (Linux Mint Debian)
1. Both computer have exactly same settings (i.e download folder ~/Downloads/)
2. Copy the files from ~/Downloads/ to new computer
3. Copy ~/.config/transmission/resume files and ~/.config/transmission/torrents files to new computer
4. Open Transmisson on new computer and you should see the transferred torrent. Right click on this entry and "Verify Local Data"
5. ...and there you go (well, at least in my case)
