Same problem here, I have NEVER had a transmission problem. Crashing and freezing whole system. 1.51, 10.5.6. Seems like it can't handle more then 40 peers and then it freezes.. Never had an issue before.

I've been having near constant kernel panics with Transmission and Leopard for quite some time. While I do believe this to be a Leopard bug and primarily Apple's responsibility, I'd appreciate it if the Transmission devs see if there is anything that can be done to alleviate matters, or at least help Apple to fix the root cause.

My Mac Mini home server crashes a couple times a day when downloading multiple torrents, regardless of speed limits. The more torrents the worse it gets, but it will commonly still crash with only two or three torrents running.

This has occurred for over a year, with various versions of Leopard and Transmission; the earliest one I have is from a year ago today.

While I do have some Transmission crash logs, they are not correlated with the kernel panics (nor would I expect them to be, for obvious reasons). I realize this is not much to go on, but it is absolutely crippling.
