I've noticed that <30% is currently colored red, 30% to 70% is yellow, and >70% is green. In my opinion, the current coloring scheme doesn't convey a lot of additional information beyond that conveyed by the size of the bar.
I suggest instead to use one color for the portion of the peer's data set that the user already has and another color for the portion of the peer's data set that the user doesn't yet have i.e. wants. The idea is somewhat like the green shading intensity on the progress panel, but peer-specific.

Besides not being possible with the current bars being used, displaying too much information would just clutter and confuse more than necessary.
