Seems there are still problems with the web interface. I tried starting a torrent by save the file and uploading it but this doesn't not work. the URL link seems to work, but still does not auto start. Is anyone else having this problem?

Since I upgraded to this version I can't get a port to open...

That depends on how you installed it in the first place.
Doesn't it sound suspicious that you're the only one reporting this problem? I have 2 different installations and nothing changed with respect to the port, but I do use static mapping, perhaps you use the automagic port opening... if that's the case, why not try manual?

I have no idea how to do it manually--it's always worked on automatic through every version until this one.

Here is my report on 1.61.
Twice now after waking my mac from sleep, the torrents resumed downloading but did so from the very beginning. One of them was at 98% done
and started back from scratch. I stopped it, reverted to 1.53 added the torrent back and let it check the file. Sure enough it stated it was at 98%.
This has happened twice now with 1.61 and never before with the previous iterations. Hope this helps.
As always, Transmission just ROCKS!

It seems that the high CPU usage bug is reintroduced in 1.61... My CH3SNAS has had one transmission-daemon running at 100% several times now, which didn't happen with 1.60.
Back to 1.60

Back to 1.60

I have this same problem running 10.5.7 mbp. It's too bad but hopefully it will be worked out soon.

Missing files on the source tarball:
gtk/transmission.rc
gtk/transmission.ico
And they are deleted on 'make distclean'.
Had to download those from the repository.

Transmission 1.61 will hang almost every time I select a torrent file (that's being downloaded) and choose "remove all files". Force quitting won't help, not even killing it through the terminal.

Ah maybe that's it then. I noticed a lot of transmission-daemon processes doing nothing (more than usual). Even a regular kill wouldn't help, had to kill -9.
And still, ever since I'm back on 1.60, all is well.
