Hi
I've just started using Transmission, but I appear to having a bit of a problem.
Once I have completed downloading a transfer I then begin to seed which is fine.
However, if I decide to exit Transmission it tells me my transfer will be paused until I reopen Transmission again. Fine.
But when I reopen Transmission again, the transfer I was hoping to continue to seed from where I left off, is no longer there and instead the transfer begins downloading all over again.
Has anyone else noticed this or am I neglecting to do something.
It's really frustrating as my seeding ratio is taking a big hit due to this

Re: Seeding Problem
Have you moved/modified/deleted the corresponding data?
Re: Seeding Problem
What do you mean by moved/modified/deleted the corresponding data? Once I chose a torrent It goes to my downloads folder. I open the torrent and choose Transmission from there. Everything says in my download until I've finished download. Once I have completed the download, I move the file into my external hard drive and delete the original file from my downloads.
Is this where I am going wrong?

That is what I mean. You moved the data, so Transmission cannot find it on next launch and therefore starts over. To move it use File -> Move Data Filebolder wrote:Once I have completed the download, I move the file into my external hard drive and delete the original file from my downloads.
