Torrents from HD

I have an external HD that I like to keep all of my movies on. When I am seeding, I seed files that are on my computer's HD and not my external one. Is there any way that I can seed the files right from my external HD without copying them to my internal HD first? Thanks.

I'm guessing nobody knows what I'm talking about. I'll explain it more. When I download a torrent, the data is placed on my internal HD and then I can seed it normally. But because I would quickly run out of hd space if I did that, I put the data on an external HD. Now when I click on the torrent to seed it, it thinks it has to redownload it because all of the data is now gone from my internal HD. How can I tell transmission that the data is somewhere else?
