Transmission

Does anyone know the difference between Automatic ( http://codingcurious.com/automatic/ ) and Automatic ( http://kylek.is-a-geek.org:31337/Automatic/ )?

I'm looking to automate downloads with Transmission and am wondering which one is better, and if so, why? Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

The first is a GUI program specifically for the Mac, the second is a perl script based commandline utility that will run on a linux based system.
