Web Login with User/Pass in URL?

Just wondering if the username and password for the WebUI can be passed via. the URL/Bookmark?

Example:

http://192.168.1.109:9091/Login?WEB_USE ... ASS=123456

Why not? There is a standard HTTP way of including login and password in URL:

http://login:password@192.168.1.101:9091/
