Is it safe to have Transmission on the Dock now?

Before when I had Transmission on the dock, the dock and expose usually crashed at some point and the battery life of my Macbook Pro was drained horribly. Now with Snow Leopard and Transmission 1.74, is the problem fixed?

This doesn't really sound Transmission-related to begin with.

The dock and expose crashed and also the battery life was drained rapidly BECAUSE of Transmission being on the dock, so it is related. When I took it out, it was fixed. I just want to know if this problem persists.
