I have a mac mini i use as a media centre. I've assigned a static IP - 192.168.1.104, forwarded port 9091 to this IP, but can't access the WebUI from other computers in the LAN -i get a 'Timed Out' error.
I can access the mac mini via VNC, and ssh to it via 192.168.1.104, though interestingly pinging it from other computers is unsuccessful. Using the mac mini via VNC, i can open Safari, and 192.168.1.104/transmission/web accesses the WebUI fine - just not from any other computer in the network.
I've got Transmission 1.54 installed on the mac mini.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

hi,
in your settings.json, you have this -> "rpc-whitelist": "127.0.0.1,", only your mac mini can access to the WebUI, you must add all your computers like this "rpc-whitelist": "127.0.0.1,192.168.*.*" or disable it.
So, i think
