Pasting torrent URL crashes Safari on Iphone

When I copy an url for a .torrent file and try to paste it into the webui to make it download, safari hangs.
I can paste the URL fine in other places like emails, text messages or in the safari adress bar. But not in the Web UI uploader prompt, nothing happens when I click paste and then Safari slows down and gets unresponsive.
I've tried manually typing in the same url and it worked, but of course that takes forever.
Anyone else experiencing this?
