How to seed new torent?

I have transmission 1.76 and using web interface.
On my home PC i create yyy.torrent for xxx.avi, then upload xxx.avi on seedbox using ftp.
In web inteface open torrent, choose file yyy.torrent on my PC. And nothing happen, nothing seed.
Where i mistake?
Please, help.
