Turn off .part?

Is it possible to disable the .part extension in recent Transmission versions (i.e. revert to the older behavior)? It makes it easier to watch partially downloaded videos.

No, there's no mechanism for disabling this.

It seems like a bad way to watch a video. If a piece is incomplete, the video will just stall. You could create a link to the file with the file extension you'd like.
