Just wondering if it would make sense to maintain some sort of peer list when the torrent finishes. Current behavior seems to be to drop all seed peers which results in sub-optimal behavior in the presence of mainly DHT driven torrents. If seeders could maintain some sort of list of known peer list, it could be used to help "seed" new clients' peer lists when when they're bootstrapping themselves. It doesn't seem to matter too much that the list is perfectly up to date, although if that could be arranged that would seem better.
This would only seem to help if PEX is also enabled, so is it only worth enabling when both PEX and DHT are turned on?
Hope this hasn't already been requested/finished. I couldn't find anything, but would appreciate any pointers.
