I think it's since 1.90 that the action menu no longer lets you see the list of files (and optionally modify which ones you want to dl, if I remember correctly)? Personally I liked that feature, it was handy just ctl-clicking to see the list of files in a torrent, as opposed to apple-I plus click on tab for files. Anyway, just my two cents re that feature. If others feel the same way, maybe it could get restored in a future release?

Thanks to all involved in Transmission, it's a great bit of software!

A small issue, in the (terminal) help:
transmission-daemon is a headless Transmission session
that can be controlled via transmission-remote or Clutch.
I guess Clutch should be replaced with something else, since Clutch is redundant now, right?

Great release devs!
its been running non stop for the last 3 days!

no bugs here on OSX 10.6.2

if only it could speed up my internet connection, and give me extra d/l quota.... now that would be really something
;)

[i'm living in the dark ages here in rural OZ, 1.5Mb ADSL with 50Gigs d/l per month :(]

I'm using OS X 10.6.2 and after updating to 1.91 last night I had no upload activity and it almost all of the torrents reported the tracker did not respond. I'm also only seeding to private trackers. I downgraded back to 1.90 and instantly started uploading again.

Are you sure the private tracker(s) allow 1.91? Could be an issue on their end.

Hi !
Since v1.80, I takes more than 1 minute to launch Transmission on my iMac with OS 10.6.2, is it normal ? Many other users noticed this problem on Mac4Ever, see the links below (in french) :

I think that what he is saying is that he is getting the same issues that i am getting with Transmission 1.91 locking up the entire system and then not spitting out any error report due to having to restart the WHOLE system.

Not just force quitting the application.

Its not just some random thing that can be passed off as tracker related either. When i start 1.91 it takes forever to stop bouncing in the dock now. then when it does you can basically go and make a coffee before it can actually find any peers.
Once it is finally running it seems to be VERY slow. and then usually after about 20 mins the whole system gets taken to its knees and locks up.

I know it isnt a problem with the trackers because they have been checked and i have also tested them with utorrent and there was no issue. (also noted that utorrent reports say 2339 seeds and 11199 leechers, transmission only will show maybe 34 seeds. if that makes any sense, as i said before there were no error reports so cant give specific reasons why).

Current system is MBP running 10.6.3 but also happens on imac running 10.5.8.

I will try a nightly and see if that is more stable.
