Changing Directory for Pre-Downloaded Torrent Files

Hi all,
I'm a new user to Transmission, and I have a question pertaining to the data storage of torrent files. I have several torrents which I have already downloaded in the past, but I believe the location of the downloaded data moved from its default location, resulting in the local data verification to fail for 100+ of my torrents. For the sake of my ratio on the tracker, I'd like to point these torrents to the location of the actual data, instead of re-downloading all these files only to seed them again. Is there a way to indicate to Transmission torrents where the data is located?

I'm using Transmission 1.75 (9117) on a Dell Inspiron running Ubuntu 9.10. Thank you for any help you can offer!

Marcus

The "Set Location" menu item is what you're looking for.

Thanks for the response,
I tried using the "Set Location" option, but it doesn't really work. For example, I changed the location for the files of a torrent to the folder where the files are by selecting "Set Location", and then indicating the location of the files (by the folder they are located in), and then selecting the option "Local data is already there". However, when I run "Verify local data" the status briefy says "Verifying local data (0.0% tested)", and then it switches right back to Paused. If I start the torrent it begins to download it again. What am I doing wrong? All the files from the torrent are in the folder I've indicated, but it can't verify for some reason.

Thanks for the help,

Marcus
