[LOCKED DUPLICATE] Transmission Takes Forever To Quit

Whenever i wish to close transmission, I have to wait minutes for it to quit properly, even with only a couple of torrents. My mac shuts down in 10 seconds, so it is slightly annoying that I have to wait another minute and a half for one of my applications (Transmission) to quit. It cannot be true that I have to force quit Transmission every time I would like to turn off my computer.

This is a thorn in the side of such a fast, small and nimble BT client.

Both Transmission and Snow Leopard are fully updated.
