RSS Support and built in search changing port

Post by crazyportuguese »

I'm using transmission in my NAS E-trayz, and its the fastest bitTorrent client out there.
Unfortunatly I've a problem. I acess my etrayz from work to download stuff so that I can acess it when I arrive home.
In my work I can only acess ports 8080 or 8080 and I havent found a torrent site that is not blocked (even proxy sites are blocked).

Since Transmission is set on port 9091 I can't acess it from work.
And considering that it doesnt have a built in search or rss feature I cant add downloads from my work.

So it would be great to add this features RSS Support and built in search and the possibility of changing port.

You can change the port that you connect to transmission in settings.json under "rpc-port:". There's also a few RSS scripts floating around the forums that you might want to try out.

If you want rss support I'm running flexget to get that..
It's a brilliant program that supports transmission and you can set it up easy..
