Revamping those whole user interface/Columns?

I was wondering if the devs were considering redesigning and improving the interface of transmission. I can speak for myself and others when I say the deisgn is a bit flawed and cumbersome when handling a large amount of torrents. If not totally redesigning it, perhaps then a toggle-able column mode (similar to utorrent, vuze, deluge, among other bittorrent clients)?

I have roughly 1000 transfers, and it's very hard to manage them all using transmission' tab-like interface. If it's not impossibly difficult, please consider this! Many users would love to see this feature implemented!

Don't use the GUI version as a seedbox. The list interface devours cpu cycles and is very slow/unstable with over a thousand torrents. Try Transmission-cli.
