sorry!!! my mistake, transmission does auto-resume but it takes so much time that it seems that it doesn't. Can the retry and time-out settings be changed or can an option be added for the user to set them?

updated to the latest nightly build. No change. Someone who has the time and knowledge please fix it.

Try upgrading to the latest nightly version of Transmission.

Also the respone of livings124 (please send a patch) is because they don't like it when people think they can demand them to quickly do something because they want it quick. So it is logic ...

I have the exact same problem as DavidR. Please fix it at the earliest. Its unfortunate that such a problem exists.
