Between banging my head against the wall and Googl-ing for a solution, I believe I found a compromise. I will set my Growl notifications for ‘Download Complete’ to ‘stiky’, meaning ‘Stay on Screen: Always’. It's not going to be pretty but certainly will help me with my ‘What did I finish downloading ...
