Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that the problem scope is narrow as announce or scrape or that it's necessarily Transmission breaking protocol. The tracker could easily be at fault here.

On some of the private bittorrent trackers that I use, Transmission 1.93 cannot scrape or announce because the server returns a 400 error, stating that the torrent is not registered with the tracker. 1.92 works just fine.
