Here it is still. Doesn't happen very often these days (Transmission 2.82), but it does happen.

I think the problem is that we started with a partially downloaded torrent. So Transmission is failing to take into account that this partial download must have come from somewhere, i.e. we must have downloaded it. Looking at the second torrent in the screen shot, we read:

2.05 GB, uploaded 182 MB ...

All of it. We are seeding now. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

I've attached a screen shot.

On a clean installation, I have two torrents:

* 482 MB, uploaded 425 MB, ratio 0.88

* 2.05 GB, uploaded 182 MB, ratio 0.26

But the overall ratio at the top of the window says 0.87. This is clearly wrong! I have uploaded a total of approximately 600 MB of 2.5 GB, so the ratio should be more like 0 ...

When oh when will Transmission stop crashing on quit? Here's the latest:

I'm having the same problem. I got suspicious (I'm seeding all these torrents and no one is taking anything?) so I switched to UTorrent and instantly started uploading like crazy. So I think this is a Transmission bug.

Here's some log excerpts when I launch Transmission. By the way, another mystery is this: all the torrents are paused, so why are we scraping at all???? Pause should mean pause. I like to keep a lot of paused torrents in my list, but I'll have to stop doing that if there is this secret cost.


2012 ...

I'm having a similar problem. All my torrents are reporting "Scrape error: could not connect to tracker".

My port is open; I can download and seed; but I looking at the log, I think my peers are all coming from DHT (if that makes sense).

Transmission 2.13 (11501). Eight torrents are listed in my window, all to be seeded. Many of them are rarely wanted so I might need to seed for weeks or months before I get any takers. So I want to resume them all and let them just run. The problem is this:

If 7 of the torrents are seeding and one ...

When I'm leeching, the inspector shows all seeders that I'm downloading from, but it does not show any leechers I'm uploading to. I'd like it to show them.

Similarly, I'd like to be able to see all known seeders listed even when I'm seeding. The reason for this is to learn the proportion of ...
