Thank you for your reply. If I look on the torrent there seems to be many other peers on-line. Is there a way to make sure my defaulf setting on transmission is set correctly? Should I also start all over and delete Tranmission from the Mac and re-install it, how do I need to do this to make sure ...

I was able to download but it stopped for a couple of days. I re-installed Transmission to see if it works but no avail. I use a Mac 10.4.11 and transmission ver. is 1.54
