Transmission

Hey guys,

I am trying to access transmission via the web console and getting timeouts. I can get in sometimes via the webconsole but takes about 20-30 minutes running this on a mybook world/

[root@Teros teros]# transmission-remote -l —list
[22:24:21.635] transmission-remote: (localhost:9091) Error ...

Most people are getting this a suggestion was to downgrade via an old ipkg

Even if you do not access the webgui or via any other means the process still stops.

Bug still present where on headless server's transmission stops after 30 mins

Performed an IPKG update of transmission to 1.70-2 and now when attempting to start i get /opt/bin/transmission-daemon: can't load library 'libevent-1.4.so.2' anyone getting the same

On a Mybookworld using IPKG.

After updating transmission to 1.6 getting the below error when trying to access the webinterface..
404: Not Found
/opt/share/transmission/web/index.html

Tried doing a chown to give the www-data full access over the /web directory now i get access error's when using transmission remote ...

does a proxy feature exist for remote gui i.e. going through a proxy i'd need to when accessing from work.

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else has anyone configured 1.5 to import directly from rss feeds thinking would be easier than manually adding all the time
