[1.5] Speed Limit and other bugs

Using 1.5 (7886). I would try a Nightly but I use many private sites with strict White lists, so I stick with Official builds only.

This may be a coincidence, but I think Speed Limit is hammering my router to the point where it no longer transmits. With Speed Limit enabled, it would seed a bit but no HTTP connections would go through. However this morning I fired up Transmission, turned SL off and used the Total Bandwidth Limiter to limit only uploads. With Downloads up to 1.5MB/s, my web page viewing still flys.

Mac Specific Bugs I've found:
No more keyboard input. Randomly it won't accept any keyboard entry. To change values I would copy+paste with the mouse the numbers from one application into Transmission. All other apps work fine.

Pause Button disappears. Yup, gone, but if you still click where it should be, that works.

Group Title Bar disappears. This may have been on a previous version (can't remember) but randomly the Title bar for No Group would dissapear and I wouldn't be able to select the top one or two torrents.



Other than that, I LOVE Transmission!

I'm using 1.5 also, on OSX 10.5.6, and have seen none of these problems.

Have you tried the usual voodoo? That is, trash T's preferences (org.m0k.transmission.plist), repair permissions, reinstall T, and zap the PRAM?

You might check the Console to see whether T's producing any error messages that might provide a clue as to what's wrong.

about the pause button, try this: right click on the place where the buttons are and say adjust buttons (or something like that I have a dutch version) and put the pause button back in it.

I think he's talking about the Pause button on each individual torrent, not the Pause button in the toolbar. I could be wrong though.

Individual torrent pause buttons. A relaunch of the program fixed everything (knew it would) but decided to bring attention to it anyways. Just want the best program to get even better.

Running more tests and keeping an eye on it all day, I think that Speed Limit bug I said was merely a coincidence. Router is running fine now.
