When adding a torrent, a copy of the torrent will be placed in
~/Library/Application\ Support/Transmission/Torrents/
When removing a torrent with cmd+backspace, the .torrent file copy is deleted. I've checked my prefs and "Trash original torrent files" is unchecked. If I check this option and remove a torrent file, the .torrent file copy will not be in the trash. It appears the behavior is the same whether checked or unchecked.
This is on Mac OS X 10.5.2, and tested with these versions of Transmission:
Transmission-1.50.dmg
Transmission-1.34.dmg
Transmission-1.33.dmg
Transmission-1.22.dmg
Transmission-1.51+Z-svn-r8085.dmg
Am I missing a setting or is this broken?
Thanks,
M

Re: Transmission deleting .torrent files
That folder contains the internal data. "Trash original torrent files" refers to the file you're originally double-clicking.
