"folder for downloading xxxx cannot be used" PROBLEM...

having problems with Transmission...

all the torrents I'm seeding and have stored on an external drive are coming up with the message "folder for downloading... cannot be used... transfer will be paused..."

yet, the hard drive is connected, I can access all the files, all the folders & files still exist.

WHAT GIVES??????

how the hell do I fix this???

Its possible that there is a permissions problem that is preventing Transmission from writing to your desired destination disk. Check that out first by using the Finders "Get Info" command on the drive and the folders.
