Ubuntu headless server + last version dont start

Bonsoir,
i just finising ubuntu 8.10 server + last version of transmission
I open the 51413 port on my routeur ( checked ok )
i only install transmission cli & daemon as i 'm on server.
when i lauched tnasmission :

You probably have (the old) transmission running, stop it, then start again.
