Problems using Transmission with Mac OS X

Hi guys,

I recently got a problem many users from the Mac OS flank experienced with Transmission. It just seemed to crash
after running a bit and seemed to freeze in the Dock. I tried several versions, although the nightly version from yesterday
worked pretty fast it still caused Transmission to crash not when it was running but when I tried to quit it.

Ok, so far the story many Mac users and you are probably familiar with.

My Solution
Since yesterday I needed to run several Fresh Mac OS installations and I thought I try
several things out. What I found out with my System (Mac OS X 10.5.6) was:

1. When I installed Mac OS X + all updates and stuff and then Transmission I got it to crash everytime I started it.

2. After installing Mac OS X without anything and then installling Transmission, Transmission worked just fine
even after uploading all software updates from Mac.

To make clear it wasn't a Transmission only test or something, I just tried stuff out while Installing my new system
with all software and stuff, but maybe this fact might help you coders out there to get the idea where the problem might be
as I think Transmission is the best torrent app for Mac and would like to have it as stable as possible ;D

Transmission works absolutely great with my updated system (10.5.6) filled with 750MB of stuff. So obviously one of your stuff is creating a conflict. Find out the faulty application and eradicate it.
