Many peers, not downloading

I'm trying to download this torrent, and despite the fact that it's about 7 gigs, it was going very well. But then I checked on it, and it wasn't downloading anymore, even though there are as much as 40 peers. It's obviously recognizing them, so why is nothing happening?
