Maxtor Central Axis how?

I was drilling google and few forums including this one for around five or six hours with the will to find any information regarding installation of a torrent client to my NAS HDD "Maxtor Central Axis (1TB)" As far as i understand Central Axis stands for a later version of Maxtor Shared Storage (i.e. MSS II). Unfortunatelly i did not succeed, i found few posts saying that it's possible but how can that be done - unknown

I would be grateful for a list of steps

For example:
1) Download this version of Transmission..
2) Copy 'some' file here
2) Do the following there...

step by step

On the openmss forum you can find image to install. Someone there made an image from the Central Axis "firmware" that enables ssh etc. After you have done that you can install Transmission daemon from the optware feed with the ipkg command. You can ask for help on the openmss forum.
