Auto-Add Issues

Hi,

Just downloaded and setup Transmission. I setup the auto add on a folder. When the program is open and I add a file nothing happens. If the program is not running, I add a file to that folder, and then start Transmission the torrent starts just fine. Any thoughts?

I'm having a similar issue. Many torrents just aren't adding. Seems to be a bug. If I double click a .torrent file when Transmission is already open... nothing happens. If I go to the Window menu, the one and only window listed is the name of the torrent I double clicked, but it's clearly nowhere to be found. Quitting the app and relaunching causes the auto add to add the same torrent file just fine. This seems to be new behavior perhaps with the latest version (1.76).

May have fixed it. The peer port was closed. checked the box to randomize the port on launch. Hopefully this will fix it. Tried a few test torrents and all seems to be well.

I'm having a similar problem, it seems to be caused by the file being read and removed before the file finishes transfering to the folder as i see the file disappear out of there before the transfer is complete or even started sometimes (i'm doing this over an SMB share so the delay is more noticeable)

not to be a stickler but the thread i made in requests isn't a duplicate its a request for a feature that addresses this problem but i'm thinking this one is for people looking for a work around in lieu of said feature
