Hi, I was wondering if there is any way to remove certain files from a multi-file torrent?
For example I have downloaded a torrent that is 15GB+, and in the torrent there are 30+ folders. To save space I downloaded the first 10 folders. And now I do not need the first two folders anymore, but I can't uncheck them in Transmission (it is grayed out). And if I remove the files in Finder and then start transmission it just starts downloading them again.
When transmission is downloading I can unselect them, but then I would have to delete the files in Finder again since they would have been recreated.
Also, when starting transmission after deleting the files in Finder it goes about checking existing data, which takes forever with a 15GB+ file, and pretty much locks up my entire computer.
Is there a way to remove certain files in a multi-torrent file in a easy and intuitive way similar to the right click > remove data file?

not that I know of
The only way I know is pausing the torrent, removing the file in finder, verify the torrent with internet connection closed or download speed set to zero and afterwards uncheck anything that should be unchecked
in some cases it can be handy to uncheck a file you didn't remove, but already downloaded
because transmission looks at the pieces it downloaded, it might think a file isn't complete and start download those few kilobytes again, but in the process also creating an almost empty file (but taking up full space of course) you didn't want downloaded
