Is their a way to Install on Android

I have an HTC Dream and wanting a Torrent Client to be on the Phone

I am used to having Transmission from using FreeNAS

but all I can dig up are Remotes

any way to port this ?

and I say again all I can find are remote clients

how does one get the daemon running inside Android platform
