New to the boards, but I've been using transmission for awhile now.
I've checked the wiki and there doesn't seem to be any more that I can do past what I've already done. So here goes:
I just moved to a new apartment, and the internet here is pretty slow. WIth a speed test, my DL speed clocks at about 1.20 MB/s. Even with that, the torrents I download never download any faster than 100kb/s, and that is VERY lucky. Most of the time my speeds are between 10-20kb/s.
The port I'm using is actually open. I've port forwarded it through my firewall settings on my 2wire 2701HG-B router.
I'm running on Transmission version 1.61, and Mac OSX 10.5.
Since the port is open and there are plenty of seeders for all the torrents I've been downloading, what is my problem? Is there anything else I can do? Any help is much appreciated.
