OS X 10.4 Port Open No Firewall - Transmission not working

Hey all

I know how annoying it is when people don't search forums, so I did. I didn't find anything to help me out though.
I'm running OS X 10.4.11 and running transmission 1.54. Transmission says that the port it is using 8661 and when
it is automatically mapping ports it says that the port is open. When that option is disabled the port is closed until
I use port forwarding. I'm not using any computer firewalls.

I can't get it to start any torrent downloads.

Can anyone help me?

I've already looked at that page. It also isn't an issue with low download speeds nor with delayed start. It won't download at all.

I've been having the exact same problem for the last week or so (on same OS version, etc). Tried all the steps listed, but still no dice. Changed my port forwarding about 50 times. Is it a bug? Could it be my ISP? Anyone else having the same problem?
