new user, cant web remote to work, ports? please help

hi. the programs great ive used it on ubuntu no hassles, however ive now got a dedicated server and want to run the program via CLI and the remote web interface, but i cant get the program to run properly

this is the log i get when i run transmission-daemon -f, im trying to access the web interface with a local pc on the same switch, via port 9091 (**edit**). it is recieveing the request and refusing it so i get a 403 forbidden error. the port see ms to be open in netstat

any ideas? your help is much appreciated, thanks

Add address range 192.168.1.* to the rpc-whitelist (settings.json).

i previously had but for now just have 192.168.1.11 which is the pc i was trying to connect on, there was no difference except the extra line in the start up script
