Solved: 'bay' tracker not responding!?

In looking thru a lot of forums, I finally found one that explained why the 'bay' tracker was not responding.

They turned off their tracker facilities.

They now only use the 'magnet' facilities to respond to torrent clients to initiate and maintain a download.

I am using Transmission nightly 9629 and the "bay's" magnet capability seems to be working just fine for me. (running 10.5.8; internet over Airport to a cable modem)

PS: sorry if this has already been posted, but my searching here did not come up with a hit, but I am still a newbie.
