I've already explained multiple times, and now with magnet links I think the reason becomes a bit more clear.

Not you, dolt! The users! Goodness... you can be so selfish sometimes!

I jest, really. ;) But since you must have an answer for everything, I'll just stop asking questions now and save myself the trouble.

I don't believe it is the job of users to re-justify a feature removed casually by developers. You must either aim to please, or expect losses. You build your program however you like! But it isn't good practice to ignore user requests and expect them to change their habits based on your whims.

I personally do not care for the idea of my torrents being exclusively managed by Transmission. So it's nice to keep those files tidily in one place, with the ability to easily oversee them.

If Transmission does not understand these concepts, then I may also seek alternatives.

It is not my job to have to justify my every action, although in this case I have thoroughly. I've explained a hundred times in multiple threads why this was removed. It was not removed just to inconvenience you. If you do not want to use the auto-delete torrent file, then the torrent file will stay there - it is not Transmission's job to manage those file at all. Feel free to seek alternatives.

I have answered your questions objectively, and fairly (and with some lighthearted cajoling). It is not my intention to imply or offend, though I it seems I've succeeded in the latter. You're taking this too personally.

I was not threatening - in any way - to stop using Transmission. I was merely exemplifying my earlier statements, and expressing my personal opinion on the matter. Now I will seek alternatives, as you have offended my gentlemanly sensibilities!

Good day, Sir!
