Max DL speed for 2 seconds > drop 2 zero > back up, repeat

Hey,

My download climbs all the way up to the max of what my connection can handle, then instantly starts falling... down to zero, then backup. I still download stuff fairly quickly, it's just a constant back and forth though...

Any tips?

Haven't had this problem before. I've, sort of, isolated it to transmission since I maintain solid speed without drops using uTorrent. Things have worked fine previously with all the same hardware. Macbook Pro g2, os x 10.6.2.

Ports open etc, connectable, transmission 1.80b3 (9787) - same problem with previous build.

put a download limit to your max, should fix the problem. If it doesn't do it below that amount (your max is 700kB/s, then do it 650kB/s or 600kB/s )
