Not seeding/downloading when showing as available

Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble downloading a file. It appears to be stuck at ~50%. Currently there are 22 other known Peers/leechers and 1 seeder.

I'm connected to 9 peers who also seem to be stuck at 50%.

Under the "transfer" tab, the pictorial representation shows that there are other bits available to download from the other peers, as they are different shade of blue to the rest of the squares.

Now, assuming that we are all stuck, but stuck with different bits available, how do I get it all going again?

When I hover over the other peers, it just says "You unchocked the peer, but the peer is not interested"....

You are misunderstanding the picture in the transfers tab - blue is what you have, green is what's available (there are 2 views, showing what's available and what you have). More than likely if all are stuck at 50%, it means you all have the same bits and the original seeders disappeared.

Yeah, I know blue is what I have, and the "different shade of blue", (or "green" as you put it ) is what's available.

But if there's "green" showing (it looks like a lighter shade of blue to me), then why can't I get that?

Lighter shades of blue means you have part of the piece, but not all of it. Green and blue are different colors. Green is what's available.

Ah, thanks! I've never seen green on any other torrents before, so I never knew a green existed there. I've only seen the blue and the lighter greeny-blue bits.

Guess I just have to keep waiting then... It's been about two months, so I'm not really holding out much hope on this one.
