How can I verify local data?

Post by HorstPiffl »

Here´s the thing: I put a file that I once downloaded with Transmission back into my downloads folder in order to seed it again.
I guess I have to verify local data now.
(But only because I put he file back into the downloads folder doesn´t mean it appears in the Transmission window now.)

How do I do that: verify local data?

Thank you, guys. BUT:

I cannot execute the "verify local data" command, which of course is under the transfers menue, because the file doesnt appear in the Transmission window - which means that the "verify local data" command is light gray ---) not possible to activate. :-(

What if I cannot re-add the .torrent file because I don´t have it anymore? :-(

You have to search for it and re-download it. Or search your computer again to see if you still have it somewhere.
