transmission-gtk and transmission-cli not synchronize?

i'm using archlinux.
archlinux i'm install two pkg, transmission-cli and transmission-gtk.
first i start my web client.
# /etc/rc.d/transmission start
and go to browser keyin localhost:9091 to log in web interface. downloading file "abc123". i pause it.
and open with transmission-gtk, but it getting start with download "abc123", but in web interface i already pause it.

is that a two different software running?

transmisson-gtk, transmission-cli and transmission-daemon all operate completely independently. Don't ask me why (simple user here), but it is one of my #1 peeves about it.
