Transmission becomes frontmost application when auto-adding

Post by mitah »

As the title says, every time Transmission auto-adds a torrent file from the watched folder, it comes to the front, overlaying the currently running application.
I'm running Transmission on my HTPC Mac Mini with Automatic + Transmission to download via RSS and PLEX as media center. When I'm watching something in PLEX and Automatic downloads a new torrent file, Transmission pops up and shows the Inspector window over the PLEX interface and sets Transmission as the active application, so I have to get up, connect the mouse or keyboard to the Mac Mini and change the focus back to PLEX or hide Transmission again.

Is there ANY way to prevent this rather annoying behavior?

Now that you mention this is no normal behavior, I realized this only happens when Transmission is hidden ... After I've activated Spaces and moved Transmission to another Space, this has stopped... Thanks for this push in the right direction.
