what are the best setting if you have broadband speed?

does anyone have any tips on tweaking the preference settings to get the fastest speeds for downloading and have little to no crashes. I have broadband speed(over 2000kbs). i download files that are between 2gb-5gb in size and just want to make sure i have the settings set for the best performance. thanks

I use about 80% of both DL/UL speed.

does it still crash when you have your settings at 80%. Mine will crash a few times an hour but comes right back after a few seconds. i have my settings at 4000 for DL and 500 for UL. i'm going to try the 80% thing you said and i bet it will have less crashes. thanks
