[SOLVED] Protocol inside Transmission

Hello Transmission Community,

I'm a student and I'm working on a bit-torrent related project.
I'm new to transmission and I want to develop a new protocol
with the existing code as a base.

I have experience with bit-torrent code but with Azureus.
Is there any wiki/api anyway everything that can help me to
see which are the important files for Transmission ?
From a quick glance I saw that peer-mgr.c peer-msgs.c
seem very important. However, any hints would be very
helpful .
