Currently Running:
Mac OS X 10.6.3
2.53 GHz intel core 2 duo
4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Transmission 1.92 (10363)
Verizon FIOS 35/35 Mbps
Ever since I upgraded to 35/35 from 20/5...transmission's been acting weird, whenever I am downloading/uploading more than one torrent uncapped download speed reaching (3200k +) every other torrent slows down (even to the point of completely stopping and just leaving the downloading torrent active the rest the uploading torrents just freeze), its like transmission uses all the resources during high speeds, It becomes unresponsive for short bursts of time, Some of my other apps like safari or quicktime become sluggish, I've been force to both capped my upload and download speeds to around 1500k, I find this rather frustrating I wish I could take full advantage of my bandwidth (which is puny compare to other countries). is there a solution to this?? My macbook pro is less than 6 months old and is fast...do I need to switch to a different client??

Re: Multiple Download/Upload slows down Transmission
Your network setup is what's causing the issue. It can't handle the number of connections/speed. You need to cap speeds, number of peer connections, and number of active transfers.
