Transmission not download (rarely uploading)

Hello,

Downloaded 1.93 about 10 days ago, MacBook, 10.5, Leopard. Worked great for a few days, the for the last few to several days, occasional ability to upload, NO downloading. Port is open with green light. Trashed and redownloaded program, no change in function. Any known issues? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your input.
